The resources embed unique arts-led place-based praxis, the permaCultural resilience framework to create an approach to place-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for supporting student-led inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
In addition, Design Thinking; the cognitive, strategic and practical processes by which design concepts are developed are merged with the critical praxis to create an approach that encourage the 21st Century Skills – the 4Cs, communication, critical thinking, collaboration and creativity.

In addition to core education modules CoDesRes also produced resources for Community groups; Rapid Engineering for Communities, Rapid Media for Communities and Rapid Governance for Communities. These resources will also be added too in 2023, with outcomes from our Clár Include Labs project.
NB: The resources are free to use all we ask is that you acknowledge the team and feedback on what works and what doesn't as we are continuing to develop them through our legacy projects, Muinín Catalyst and The Ballroom.
External Resources for Communities
The Wheel is Ireland’s national association of charities, community groups and social enterprises. As a representative voice, we provide leadership to the charity and community sector and we advocate on behalf of our growing community of members. As a supportive resource, we offer advice, training and other opportunities to people working or volunteering in the charity and community sector.
A Public Participation Network (PPN) is a network that allows local authorities to connect with community groups around the country. The Public Participation Network is the 'go to' for all local authorities who wish to benefit from community and voluntary expertise in their area.

CRNI is the representative body for community based reuse, repair and recycling organisations in Ireland. Their vision is an Ireland where the word ‘Waste’ doesn’t exist and where our entire community benefits from the social, environmental and economic value of all reusable resources. Their aim is to provide a range of practical supports to our members, and to promote community based, sustainable waste management as a practical and effective way of tackling Ireland’s growing waste problem.
