Culture Night - Tales of the Sea, Old and New and the launch of SS Net Re-use project
As part of CoDesRes's year-long Storybank project this special night will have a focus on Iveragh's Coastal Communities; Lighthouse keepers, sailors, marine biologists and story tellers will share their tales of the sea.

About the Event
Lighthouse keepers, fishermen, marine biologists, and sailors will share their tales of the sea in this special event celebrating Iveragh’s marine heritage, in the Old Barracks, Cahersiveen 6 – 9pm . As part of CoDesRes’s year long Storybank project this special evening in partnership with Sea Synergy and special guests will focus on Iveragh’s coastal communities’ and the seafaring heritage; cultural and natural shaped by the Wild Atlantic.
The evening will also launch Sea Synergy’s exciting new project SS Net Re-use, supported by Bord Iascaigh Mhara, a 9 month project working with local communities to re-imagine a new story for old nets.
